After obtaining an undergraduate law degree from King’s College London, Liam undertook a research degree within the Forum for Legal and Historical Research at the University of Reading. He completed the Bar Vocational Course at the Inns of Court School of Law, being rated as ‘Outstanding’ in five subjects, including advocacy.
Liam joined Employment Law Advocates having gained experience in all aspects of employment law as a representative at the Free Representation Unit - a charity providing pro bono representation in Employment Tribunals.
Liam appears regularly in Employment Tribunals across southern England, successfully representing both claimants and employers in a variety of cases ranging from unfair dismissals to sex, race, and disability discrimination. One of his cases, McMullen v PS Photay & Associates, has recently been reported in the Equal Opportunities Review (EOR No. 192 (September 2009)).
Liam has also appeared in the Employment Appeal Tribunal.
