With a background in Industrial Relations and Policy/Planning within the Higher Education sector, Lisa embarked on a career change and completed the Bar Vocational Course at the Inns of Court School of Law . She went on to successfully complete her pupillage at the Chambers of Ami Feder, Lamb Building, and has since been working as an employment law advocate across the London Employment Tribunals. Lisa has considerable experience as an employment law practitioner, including ten years as a Trade Union workplace Officer (Unison), and 3 years as a volunteer advocate at the Free Representation Unit. She now specialises in the area of discrimination law, but has represented Respondents in a wide range of employment law issues, including Unfair/Constructive dismissals, TUPE transfers, contractual disputes and working time regulations.
