After completing her Law degree as a prize winning student at Manchester University, Lucy went on to gain a Distinction for her Masters degree in Medical Law and Ethics, also at Manchester University. Lucy then worked as a paralegal for a Warwickshire solicitors firm where she managed a varied civil law caseload including employment law, before completing the Bar Vocational Course at BPP School of Law with a scholarship from Middle Temple. She currently represents both employers and employees in employment tribunals, in addition to pro-bono work for the Free Representation Unit.
