Rad started Employment Law Advocates in July 2007 after the completing Bar School in 2006.
Rad is a specialist advocate who has developed a busy employment law practice and has extensive experience of EAT and employment tribunal work. He has comprehensive experience of settling proceedings, litigating, and appearing in tribunals in all types of cases, including unfair and constructive dismissal, wrongful dismissal, whistleblowing, all forms of discrimination, TUPE transfers and breach of contract claims.
Rad is regularly instructed by employees and employers directly, solicitors, employment law consultants and the GMB Union.
Rad has provided training to Citizens Advice Bureaus on employment law, was the Secretary of the Free Representation Unit for 2008/09, and a member of the 2009/10 Management Committee of FRU and is regularly referred cases from London Law Centres.
Rad is an accredited mediator and is currently a pupil barrister.

The Court of Appeal distinguished Norton Tool v Tewson [1972] ICR 501, holding that an employee who is constructively unfairly dismissed without notice has to give credit for earnings he earns during his notice period.
EPI Coaches Ltd v Lafferty UKEAT/0065/09
The EAT emphasised that where an application for relief from sanction is made, (1) even if the defaulting party does not have a good reason, the Employment Judge must put the explanation into context or evaluate it against other relevant factors, and (2) it is relevant to consider the merits of the claim.
Shirmardi v Capital Limo Ltd – UKEAT/0225/08
Successful perversity appeal concerning the number of hours an employee worked and its relationship to a minimum wage claim.
Power v Regent Security Services [2007] IRLR 226
Authority for the proposition that a transferee employer cannot rely upon TUPE Regulations and ECJ case law to resile from a contractual agreement entered into by reason of a transfer. Upheld by the Court of Appeal in – Regent Security Services Ltd v Power [2007] All ER (D) 298.
