Upon instructing Employment Law Advocates your case will be allocated to one of our Advocates who will undertake all of the work you require us to do. Your advocate will be your main contact for all matters that you instruct us on, whether you want to raise a grievance, you are seeking advice through a redundancy process or you wish to bring a claim against your employer. We will endeavour to maintain continuity of representative to preserve the relationship with your Advocate, and your case will therefore only be reallocated to a different Advocate in the most exceptional circumstances.

Our Expertise

We have a strong track record representing employees, regularly achieving success in the Employment Tribunals or a very healthy out-of-court settlement. Some of our recent cases include:

  • A £16,000 settlement in a sexual orientation discrimination claim;
  • An award of over £36,000 in an age discrimination and unfair dismissal claim;
  • £45,000 awarded in an unfair redundancy claim (split between two Claimants);
  • A successful appeals to the Employment Appeal Tribunal concerning the interpretation of a contract term;
  • A £30,000 settlement in a sex discrimination and constructive dismissal claim;
  • A £12,500 settlement in an unfair dismissal claim;
  • A successful appeal in Tapere, setting a precedent for future TUPE claims.
