Jeremy Howe
Experience

Jeremy has a varied practice covering almost all areas of employment law; principally unfair dismissal, most forms of discrimination, protected disclosures and TUPE. He represents a mixture of employers and employees and has enjoyed considerable success on both sides.

Representing claimants Jeremy has proven himself to be a highly capable advocate and an excellent negotiator. Jeremy recently obtained an award of over £36,000 in an unfair dismissal and age discrimination claim. This decision is currently being appealed to the Employment Appeal Tribunal and Jeremy is also dealing with this.

Additionally, Jeremy has been able to negotiate excellent settlements in many of his claimant cases. He is an experienced representative with the Free Representation Unit, and continues this work on a voluntary basis whilst working at ELA.

Jeremy has enjoyed equal success with his respondent cases, which make up around 65% of his caseload.
